Youth Chorale
Young singers are encouraged to join the Youth Chorale and are an integral part of the Chorale’s development and performing program. Whether singing with the adult chorale or lifting their young voices in songs on their own, the Youth Chorale always delivers beautiful music to an appreciative audience.
Rehearsals
Tuesdays 6:30-7:20pm. . Church of Latter Day Saints at 2627 Janin Way, Solvang.
Dues
$15 each concert series (Winter or Spring) which includes two tickets to Friday or Saturday performance. Scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the fee.
Concert Dress
Girls: White from waist to neck. Black below the waist, including black shoes, socks, tights, etc
Boys: White from waist to neck. Black below the waist, including black shoes & socks.

“Several of our singers have sung with the Youth Chorale in previous seasons,” said Chorale president and Youth Chorale coordinator Terryl Bunn. “Some have prior singing experience, but for others, this is their first formal choral training. And they seem to be enjoying it! The Youth Chorale is growing and we hope to have even more young singers for the Holiday Concerts this fall so that more children can experience the joy of singing with a group of friends, new and old...”
Nine year old Youth Chorale Member Sarah Robuck says:
“I sang with the Chorale for two seasons and I really liked it! Young people should get involved in it because it’s really fun and you get to perform in front of a lot people. We learned songs in different languages, like Swahili, French, Italian and the maestro is really, really good and nice too. Plus, singing with the orchestra is amazing.”
